Denmark has a population of around 5,560,628 million inhabitants, with
an approximate bicycle park that is close to 4,500,000 million units, that
is, that 80.1% of Danes own a bicycle. The data certifies that 18% of the
trips made in this country are by bicycle, with an average of 1.6
kilometers per day per person. In Copenhagen 37% of citizens use it daily

The Netherlands has a population of around 16,652,800
million inhabitants, with an approximate bicycle park that is
close to 16,500,000 million units. In other words, 99.1% of its
inhabitants have a bicycle. The data certifies that 27% of the
trips made in this country are by bicycle, with an average of
2.5 kilometers per day and person. Despite the crisis, the
Dutch government continues to invest a lot of money to
promote its use. For example, Amsterdam has 400 km of bike
lanes and about 40% of the trips made in the Dutch capital are
made by bicycle.
