Day 2  THE PROBLEM 

Your class is stranded on a desert island. 
The Worst-Case  The crash site still has some resources you 
could live off of, but its missing one crucial 

Scenario  thing: water. You look around and there’s 

only the ocean in front of you or a large 
forest behind you. 

THE CHALLENGE 
Help will come, but it will take them at least 
10 days to reach you. Work together as a 
class to help EVERYONE survive for the next 
10 days. Unexpected things may happen. 
Each person is only able to carry one item 
with them. If a new item is ever found, you 
can exchange it, but you can never be 
holding 2 items at a time. 

THE PROCESS 
1. Come up with a plan.​ Will everyone 
stick together? Will you split into 
smaller groups? Will there be one 
leader or multiple leaders? 
  2. Choose your item. ​Decide which item 
each person will take with them and 
why.  
 
3. Survive. ​The next 10 days will be 
MATERIALS  challenging, but you can do it as long 
as your work together.
