NARRATIVE REPORT

Under the 1987 Constitution ,Article II Sect.17 it says that the” State shall give priority to …
sports to foster development.” .While Article XIV ,Section 19 says ”(1) The State shall promote
physical education and encourages sports programs, league competitions and amateur sports,
including training for international competitions, to foster self-discipline, teamwork and excellence
for the development of a healthy and alert citizenry,(2) All educational institutions shall undertake
regular sports activities throughout the country in cooperation with athletic clubs and other
sectors.” Through this, the school responds in order to fulfil the set national mandate or goal as to
developing the physical and social attributes of our dear school children. In the date _____________
,our school intramurals has been conducted. Along with this, different games event have been
played by students athletes competing from different year level. The events that were played were
the following; Track and Field, Table Tennis , Chess, Badminton and Dance Sports. The event was
started with an opening ceremony which was participated all teachers, students and some sports
enthusiast stakeholders. The opening program was then highlighted with the lighting of friendship
urn which were participated by 2 National/Palarong Pambansa players, 3 Regional Players. Added to
the event was the raising of team banners that made all in attendance enjoyed much in cheering.
Moreover , Dr. Levi Mar H. Pazo , the school principal took part in sharing her insight on why such
event made to be happened regularly on its schedule. Also, Mr. Rommel Desuyo, the Sports
Coordinator of the school has made to discuss the rationale of the event in order for one to draw
out the significance of doing the event. Consequently, the event was made only for a day of which
after then the winning players had been identified for the preparation for the next round
competition in District Meet.
