III. Procedure: Instructional Sequence (4A’s Method)

Activity (Vocabulary Check)

Vocabulary words related to the story will be posted on the board. The students will
define the vocabulary words.

B. Analysis (Events on a Shawl)

Draw the shawl on your portfolio. On the shawl, list down events that happened in
the story. Make sure that the sequence of the events is properly arranged.

(Character Development Chart)

After a short discussion on dynamic and static characters
 Choose a dynamic characters in the story.
 Using the character development chart, show how he/she changes.
 Think about the character in the story and how she was in the end.
 Specify the characters qualities and explain how the changes of her views
affect the characters disposition in life.

Examine the theme of the literary text. On a short bond paper, create an
illustration of the story “A Shawl For Anita” base on its theme you may include

resourceful. At the back of the paper, explain your work briefly in two
paragraphs.
