Maintaining a Customer Project Billing Proposal

Would you like to know more

about how a project
manager maintains
customer project billing
proposals?

If so, follow this interactive

tutorial.

1. To open the app, select

the Release Billing
Proposals tile.

A list of billing proposals

displays based on the
default filter (Today).

To display more or fewer

billing proposals you can use
the filter bar at the top of the
screen.

2. We want to filter the billing

proposal list by project ID.

Enter I10001 as the project

ID and press Enter.

You can display more

information about a project
by choosing the project
name, which opens the
Customer Project dialog box
where you can find a link to
the customer project fact
sheet.

3. The customer project fact

sheet displays. To return to
the list of billing proposals,
choose Back.

4. To postpone the billing

proposal for the customer
project, select the billing
proposal. You can choose
more than one customer
project billing proposal to
postpone.

For this tutorial, select the

billing proposal for the fixed
price service.

5. Choose Postpone.

6. The Postpone dialog box

appears. Open the New
Billing Date date picker.

7. Select July 21, 2017.

8. Enter Rework necessary

as the reason for postponing
and choose OK.

The postponed billing

proposal no longer
appears in the filtered list.

9. To take a closer look at a

billing proposal, you can
select its checkbox and
choose Edit . You can
choose more than one billing
proposal and view their
details.

For this tutorial, select the

periodic service billing
proposal.

10. Choose Edit.

11. The Billing Proposal Item

Details screen displays.
Depending on the different
billing item usage (fixed
price, time and expenses,
periodic service, and so on),
different fields display. To
personalize the layout,
choose Settings.

You can define

the information you would
like to display about the
billing proposal by selecting
the desired checkboxes.

12. Choose OK.

You can also postpone

billing proposal items after a
specified date.

If the billing proposal items

are deselected, all items in
the billing proposal are
deferred after the date.

13. Choose Defer after Date.

14. To choose the date after

which to defer the items of
the billing proposal, open the
date picker.

15. Select September 29,

2017.

The billing proposal items

are deferred after the
specified date.

Only items before the

specified date are taken into
account and billed to the
customer.

16. To return to the

launchpad, choose Home.

You have postponed a
