General of Business and the
Under-Secretary General of
Outreach
To our prospective sponsors: 
We are Grace Thanglerdsumpan and Sophia
Kendall, the Under-Secretaries General of
Business and Outreach, respectively. On
behalf of the secretariat, we would like to
formally introduce all businesses and
organizations to our marketing prospects for
the inaugural session of the international,
student-run Global Leaders Online Model
United Nations conference (GLOMUN),
which will take place from August 1–2, 2020.
In face of the challenges imposed by the
COVID-19 pandemic, GLOMUN represents
the resiliency of the international Model
United Nations community which seeks to
adapt to the circumstances by continuing to
bring education and awareness to all in the
form of an online conference. Due to the
conference’s international reach from North
America all the way to Southeast Asia, a
special sponsorship opportunity arises for
your enterprise. As per our conference theme,
our mission statement encourages  sponsorship process through an online
global connection among young adults, and
with your sponsorship, we can realize
GLOMUN’s vision without impediments
exacerbated by limited finances.
GLOMUN pushes students to engage in
challenging conversations to discuss solutions
to some of the world’s greatest problems. As
Model UN delegates, our global connection is
crucial during a time of social distancing and
extremely limited travel options. The virtual
nature of this conference provides an
opportunity free of the restrictions of the
global pandemic. We are expecting at least 400
delegates from around the world, with our
conference taking place over Zoom and
Gatherly's video meeting systems.
We are committed to ensuring diversity within
our conference staff, chairs, and delegates, and
your financial support will allow us to
continue our mission of uniting students of all
different backgrounds and circumstances. Part
of your generous donation will be earmarked
for covering the expenses of delegates who
apply for financial aid packages. All proceeds
from the conference will be donated to the
United Nations World Health Organization’s
COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund which
aids those severely affected by the COVID-19
pandemic. Due to the nature of our
crowdfunding platform, all donations will be
tax-deductible.
By helping our team develop a world-class
conference experience for all involved, your
enterprise will be advertised internationally in
whatever way you choose, based on the form of
sponsorship you deem to be the most valuable
for your purposes. Regardless of the selected
package, all sponsors will be integral in
enabling the actualization of virtual
community and solidarity for delegates.Your

providing financial aid packages for
students who require assistance.
Speaker Fees
Hosting a keynote speaker is instrumental
in raising awareness for global issues and
inspiring delegates to transform their
knowledge into action.
Gatherly Platforms
Gatherly is a brand new state-of-the-art
virtual meeting space that simulates the
experience of an in-person conference. Due
to Gatherly's custom, advanced features
they require that we pay a fee per delegate.
Merchandise and Awards
Exclusive GLOMUN merchandise will be
designed and shipped to delegates from
around the world. Likewise, awards need to
be shipped domestically and internationally
to winning delegates. Your sponsorship will
cover production costs and shipment of
merchandise and awards.
