D. Objective 1.1 Familiarizing and classifying different baking tools and equipment and their uses.

A. Topic Use of Tools and Bakery Equipment
B. Reference K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum, TLE Learning Module (Bread and Pastry) p. 4-14
III. PROCEDURE
A. Preliminaries
1. Review Introduce the first topic of the lesson based on the learning objective on “What I Need to Know” activity.
2. Drill The teacher will administer Pre-Test on “What I Know” activity.
3. Motivation Do the “Pair It Up” activity. Pair the picture in Column A to its proper name on Column B.
B. Introduction Learners are expected to develop knowledge and skills in Bread and Pastry. Lesson 1 deals about the about the different baking tools and equipment and
their uses. It is also important to familiarize the classification of tools and equipment.
C. Teaching
Modelling “I “
 Teacher will define the definition of terms in the lesson.
 Explain the importance of Baking.
 Enumerate the classification of baking tools and equipment.
 Discuss each uses.
 Introduce other first three classification tools which are the Baking Pans, Cutting tools and mixing tools.
D. Guided Practices “

1. Teacher and  Teacher will introduce the first thee classification tools which are the Baking Pans, Cutting tools and mixing tools.
Students  Students will read and study the Topic on different baking tools and equipment.
Engagement  Class discussion. Let the students share their ideas about the topic by throwing guide questions.
 Let the students give other inputs/ information about the topic.
2. Group Activities  Group the learners into four. The teacher will administer Activity 1.
 Give them time to brainstorm and discuss their answers.
 Outputs will be presented in the class.
E. Independent  Student will be given time to read and study a story in Activity 1.1.
Practice  They should answer by choosing from the given choices.

F. Generalization  Check the learner’s mastery on topic using Guide Questions.

A. Preliminaries
1. Review Recall the past lesson through naming the first 3 classification of tools on “What’s In?” activity.
2. Drill Arrange the Jumbled letters to figure out the Key terms used in the lesson.
3. Motivation The teacher will present different 3 baking tools as an image.
The students will describe the use of these different baking tools.
B. Introduction Learners are expected to develop knowledge and skills in Bread and Pastry. Lesson 1 deals about the about the different baking tools and equipment and
their uses. It is also important to familiarize the classification of tools and equipment.
C. Teaching
Modelling “I “
 Teacher will present some real baking tools.
 Explain the importance and uses of each baking tools.
 Discuss the last 3 classification off baking tools.
 Introduce the kinds of tools under each of the last three-classification of tools which are the Preparatory Tools, Measuring tools and other baking
tools.
D. Guided Practices “

1. Teacher and  Teacher will introduce the kinds of tools under each of the last three classification tools which are the Baking Pans, Cutting tools and mixing tools.
Students  Students will read and study the Topic on different baking tools and equipment.
Engagement  Class discussion. Let the students share their ideas about the topic by throwing guide questions.
 Let the students give other inputs/ information about the topic.
2. Group Activities  Group the learners into four. The teacher will administer Enrichment activity on “What’s More.
 Give them time to solve the crossword puzzle and brainstorm their answers.
 Outputs will be presented in the class.
E. Independent  Student will be given time to answer the Generalization on “What I have learned” activity.
Practice  They should answer carefully by list down the tools and equipment needed in the given recipe.
“ YOU”  Outputs will be presented in the class.
F. Generalization  Check the learner’s mastery on topic using Guide Questions.

 Give them time to brainstorm before their Report/ discussion.
