A. ENGAGEMENT

1. Recall Activity: Tell Something?


-Teacher will ask the students to tell something about CODOMINANCE PATTERN of INHERITANCE.

C. EXPLAIN
1. POST ACTIVITY DISCUSSION and INTERACTIVE DISCUSSION
After performing the activity, together with the students will check the activity and answers to the
guide questions. Then teacher will ask students to explain about the codominance pattern of inheritance
as well as asking the students to explain their solution in solving genetic problems related to
codominance using a Punnett square in the activity.

KEY CONCEPTS TO EMPHASIZE:


In codominance, both alleles are expressed equally in the phenotype of the heterozygote. For example, red
cows crossed with white cows will have offspring that are roan cows. Roan refers to cows with red hair and
white blotches.
