Arrivals
The transfer service is ONLY available for lights arriving/departing on the published
arrival/departure dates at Heathrow airport, between 6am and 10pm. For lights arriving
outside of these times, or for lights landing at other UK airports, a taxi transfer will be
organised on request. Please be aware that taxi transfers are quoted on an individual basis and
the rates are more expensive than our transfer service. Please contact us for a quotation and
further information. The deadline for booking a transfer is 30 th June 2019 for July batch and
28 th July 2019 for August batch.

A transfer will not be guaranteed after these dates.

Things to do at the airport:

1. Once the light lands, students should go through passport control and then collect their
baggage.
2. After baggage collection, students should follow the signs towards the Exit /Arrivals Hall.
3. At arrival hall please look for the Oxford Institute staff member, who shall be standing with
student name tag.
4. The Oxford Institute staff member will accompany student to Oxford. It will take 1 hour
approximately for the transfer from Heathrow airport to Oxford.
5. Once at Oxford, our staff member will help students to check in. The students will be taken to
their rooms and given time to unpack and settle in.

Please note, at peak times it can take 1-2 hours from the time a light lands to complete passport
control and baggage collection. Our staff will always follow the live light information and will
be aware of any delays. In an unlikely event of a student being unable to ind any member staff, the
student should go directly to the airport information point at the terminal and inform a member
of airport staff. You will receive contact details of the Oxford Institute staff members a week prior
to the programe start date.

Departures
1.Our transfer service will be operating for lights departing between 6am and 10pm.
2.Students using our airport transfer service will then depart at a suitable time, to ensure they are
at the airport at least 2 hours before their light departs.
3.Some airlines require online check-in prior to departure to guarantee a light booking. It is the
parents' responsibility to check the policy with the airline. If required, we recommend that the
online check-in, any registration documents, e-tickets, or boarding passes be provided to the child
prior to travelling to the UK.

Information on Parent Transfers

For those parents or guardians who are bringing the student to college, please note that check in is
available between 2pm and 6pm on the arrival day. Kindly provide the name of the person/s dropping
collecting the student from our care by completing our Transfer information form. The named
person will be required to show a form of identi ication and sign a form to check-in and/or check-out
the student.

Airport Transfer

Transfers from London Heathrow Airport are available on Course Arrival Date and Course Departure Date, for lights
landing between 6 am and 10 pm, and on departure day for lights departing between 6 am and 10 pm.

For lights booked outside of these designated times, or at an airport other than London Heathrow, private transfers are
available. Please contact your local coordinator for assistance.
