Measurement of Turns Ratio

Current Transformer Turns Ratio: The CT ratio is the ratio of primary current input to secondary current output at full
load.

Connection Diagram:

Procedure:
1. All the Busbar Connection were removed from the terminals of CT.
2. All the Burdens were disconnected from the CT.
3. Measurement Settings were verified according to the test requirements.
4. The Measurement to be performed was selected and the output and input of the CPC to the CT were
connected as indicated by the wiring diagram.
5. No secondary windings were open.
6. Assessment was conducted & the result was recorded automatically in the CPC 100.
