BAC Resolution Recommending to the HOPE to Proceed with the Alternative

Mode of Procurement – Repeat Order under Section 51 of the 2016 Revised IRR
of R.A. 9184 for the Seminar Package for In-House Seminar on Year-End
Planning and Evaluation for Department Heads.

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Kawit thru Purchase Request #___ intends to procure the
above mentioned goods/service;

WHEREAS, Repeat Order pertains to the procurement of goods from the previous winning
bidder, whenever ther is a need to replenish goods procured under a contract previously awarded
through Competitive Bidding;

WHEREAS, on July 10, 2019, the Municipality of Kawit issued a Notice to Proceed to
______________ for the award of contract in the project entitled ______________________ with a
contract amount of ______________________;

WHEREAS, the unit price of the repeat order is the same as those previously awarded
through competitive bidding and is not the result of splitting of contract;

WHEREAS, the award was made within the six-month period and the quantity is not more
than 25% of the quantity of items awarded from the original contract;

WHEREAS, all BAC members have justifiably recommended that Repeat Order under
Section 51 of the 2016 Revised IRR of RA 9184 procurement be undertaken;

WHEREAS, the HOPE approved the recommendation of the BAC to procure the above
mentioned contract through Repeat Order under Section 51 of the Revised IRR of R.A. 9184;

NOW THEREFORE, we, the Chairman and Members of the Bids and Awards committee,
hereby RESOLVE, as it is hereby RESOLVED;

a) To recommend PARAMOUNT HOTEL AND FACILITIES CO. INC. the award of

contract for the Seminar Package for In-House Seminar on Year-End Planning and
Evaluation for Department Heads through Repeat Order under Section 51 of the 2016
Revised IRR of RA 9184;

b) to recommend to the HEAD OF THE PROCURING BODY of the MUNICIPALITY OF
