A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING PROCUREMENT OF THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF

VARIOUS SUPPLIES AND MATERIALS IN CONNECTION WITH THE PREPAREDENESS
PROGRAM IN RELATION TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC IN THE AMOUNT OF
THRU THE EMERGENCY PROCUREMENT UNDER SECTION 53.2 NEGOTIATED
PROCUREMENT OF RA 9184 AND ITS REVISED IRR

WHEREAS, the Barangay Local Government Unit of Bentig, thru Bids and
Awards Committee (BAC) was in receipt of request from the end user
AMADO T. SAMIJON, Punong Barangay and Chairman of the Barangay
Disaster Risk Reduction Management that there is an extreme need of
various supplies to address the COVID-19 PANDEMIC requirement of the
Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management with the Approved Budget
for the Contract (ABC) amounting to ____________

WHEREAS, the BAC recommend for the conduct of Emergency Purchase of

the procurement of various supplies and materials which its fund shall
be taken from the __________

WHEREAS, Section 53.2 of the revised IRR of RA 9184, otherwise known

as the Government Procurement Act, allows the resort of Emergency
Purchase subject to conditions required by law;

WHEREAS, the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) sees it proper to conduct
Emergency Purchase of various supplies and materials in connection
with the Preparedness Program in relation to COVID-19 Pandemic;

WHEREAS, the conductof Emergency Purchase is proper and justified;

NOW, THEREFORE, WE, the members of the Bids and Awards Committee,
hereby RESOLVE, as it is hereby RESOLVED;

1.To recommend to the Barangay Council the procurement of various

Supplies and Materials in connection with the Preparedness Program in
relation to COVID-19 Pandemic;

2.To recommend for the conduct of Emergency Purchase for the

procurement of various Supplies and Materials in connection with the
Preparedeness Program in relation to COVID-19 Pandemic in the amount
of _________ to be taken from the ________
Issued by the Bids and Awards Committe this 20th day of March, 2020 at
Bentig, Calape, Bohol.
