A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE AWARD TO ECBG CONSTRUCTION

FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF EXECUTIVE MEETING ROOM OF
CENRO BAGANGA
(LABOR ONLY)

WHEREAS, through negotiated procurement under Sec. 53.9 (Small Value Procurement) of RA
9184, also known as “General Procurement Reform Act”, a request for quotation (RFQ) was posted in the
PHILGEPS on August 09, 2023 and closing date on August 16, 2023 by the DENR-XI-2, PENRO Davao
Oriental, as the procuring entity, for the project, “Construction of CENRO Baganga Executive Meeting
Building”, with Approved Budget for Contract of ₱358,822.41 Pesos Only;

WHEREAS, the Bids and Awards Committee, through its Secretariat, also posted the Request
for Quotations in the Office Bulletin Board and distributed it to accredited suppliers;

WHEREAS, the BAC received quotations from three (3) suppliers of materials only and labor
only; A copy of the Abstract of Bids is herewith attached and is made part hereof;

WHEREAS, based on the Abstract of Bids, the bid price of the services by carpenter
DANDY L. AMPILIDAN, with business address at Barangay Mikit, Baganga, Davao Oriental, in
the sum of ONE HUNDRED FORTY-FIVE THOUSAND PESOS (₱145,000.00) ONLY was
identified as advantageous to the government;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion by ROGELIO R. LERIO and duly seconded by HILDA F.

LUDIA, we, the Members of the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), hereby RESOLVED as it is
hereby RESOLVED:

1. To award the contract to DANDY L. AMPILIDAN, with business address at Barangay Mikit,
Baganga, Davao Oriental, in the sum of ONE HUNDRED FORTY-FIVE THOUSAND
PESOS (₱145,000.00) ONLY;
2. To recommend to the Head of Procuring Entity (HOPE) the foregoing findings;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this approved resolution be forwarded to the PENR
Officer of Davao Oriental for his appropriate action;

 RESOLVED FINALLY that a copy of this approved resolution be forwarded to Commission on
Audit and other concerned parties for information and reference.
