RESOLUTION NO.: 2020-001

RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING EXTENSION OF THE IMPLMENTATION PERIOD FOR FORTY FIVE (45)
CALENDAR DAYS FOR THE PROJECT “REHABILITATION/ IMPROVEMENT OF MABINI BARANGAY
ROADS” AWARDED TO JMU CONSTRUCTION DUE TO REASONS INDICATED IN THE LETTER REQUEST
OF THE CONTRACTOR

WHEREAS, on 06 January 2020 the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Nestor M. Uy received a letter from
Engr. Johnnie M. Uy, General Manager of JMU Construction requesting for the extension of the
completion period for the project- Rehabilitation/ Concreting of Mabini Barangay Roads;

WHEREAS, indicated on the said letter- request that there is a possible delay in the
implementation of the above- mentioned projects due to the continuous rain in for more than one
month from November 20- December 31, 2020;

WHEREAS, based on records the Notice to Proceed (NTP) of the projects were issued on 12
November 2019 and were received on the same date;

WHEREAS, the original completion period is for 86 calendar days beginning on the date the NTP
were received and intended to be completed on 06 February 2020;

WHEREAS, attached herewith is the letter request of the contractor including the daily rainfall
chart issued by PAGASA as an integral part of this resolution;

WHEREAS, the MBAC pursuant to Annex “E” of Republic Act 9184 which deals with the Contract
Implementation Guidelines for the Procurement of Infrastructure Projects recommends for the
approval of the extension of the completion period for the above mentioned projects for additional
forty five (45) calendar days;

NOW, THEREFORE, for the consideration of the foregoing, by the power vested in US by law,
WE, the members of the Municipal Bids and Awards Committee of the Municipal Government of Gamu,

Isabela, hereby RESOLVE AND RECOMMEND, as we, hereby resolve and recommend for the extension
of the implementation period for forty five (45) calendar days of the project Rehabilitation/ Concreting
of Mabini Barangay Roads pursuant to Annex “E” of Republic Act 9184 which deals with the Contract
Implementation Guidelines for the Procurement of Infrastructure Projects;

RESOLVED FINALLY, that copy hereof be forwarded to the Municipal Mayor for his information
and proper action, to the Audit Team Leader for his information and record;

RESOLVED at the Conference, Municipal Hall Building, District 1, Gamu, Isabela this 10th day of
January 2020.
