“A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PUNONG BARANGAY, (name of barangay
captain) OF BARANGAY (name of barangay) TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT FROM
DSWD KC-NCDDP-BP2P DISASTER RESPONSE OPERATION MODALITY (DROM)
IMPLEMENTATION FOR COVID-19 RESPONSE.”
WHEREAS, it is a declared policy of the state to uphold the people’s constitutional
rights to life and property by addressing the root cause of vulnerabilities to disaster, risk
reduction and management and building the resilience of local communities to disasters
including climate change impacts;
WHEREAS, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte issued Proclamation No. 922 series of 2020
declaring public health emergency in the entire Philippines and a subsequent
proclamation placing the entire country under state of calamity, thereby empower LGU’s
to address the current situation by imposing urgent measures to prevent and monitor
entry and transmission of COVID-19 and by rendering full cooperation, assistance,
response, mobilize resources and take necessary steps against emerging infectious
disease.
WHEREAS, Barangay (name of barangay) is one of the recipients’ barangays of
DSWD: KC-NCDDP-BP2Pimplementation;
WHEREAS, in response to the Proclamation No. 929 series of 2020, the KALAHI-
CIDSS activated the Disaster Response Operation Modality (DROM) to effectively and
efficiently implement the program amid this crisis.
WHEREAS, the Barangay Council of (name of barangay)through Punong Barangay
Hon. (name of barangay captain) acknowledged the augmentation support from DSWD-
KC-NCDDP-BP2P Disaster Response Operation Modality (DROM) and the need of the
Punong Barangay to formally enter into the agreement on behalf of the Barangay and
his council in the funding entity;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. (name of barangay captain), duly seconded by
all members present during the meeting, it was.
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to authorize the Punong Barangay to
enter into the KC-NCDDP-BP2P Disaster Response Operation Modality (DROM)
implementation;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to DSWD Field
Office II, Municipal Mayor’s Office, Municipal Vice-Mayor’s Office, Area Coordinating
Team of KC-NCDDP-BP2P and other concern offices for their information and
guidance.
