Perennialism from the word perrenial means unchanged, ageless,

eternity, forever and everlasting. Perennialism believed that one should teach
the things that everlasting is important to all people. This philosophy suggests
that the focus of education should be the ideas that have lasted over
centuries. They believe the ideas are as relevant and meaningful today as
when they were written. Perennialism recommend that students learn from
reading and analyzing the works by the finest history thinkers and writers.
Although Perennialism may appear similar to essentialism, it focuses on
personal development while essentialism focuses first on essential skills. The
concept of teaching focus on the old things, they are not open on new ideas
or something that can improve teaching for example, since people are
human, one should teach first are humans not machines or techniques.
Perennialism is a subject centered platform.
