SYNOPSIS

AUTOMATIC GEAR CHANGE INDICATOR FOR TWO-

WHEELERS

INTRODUCTION:
The usages of geared two-wheelers become vast nowadays. They are equipped
with speed and fuel indicators. But the main drawback is there is no indicators
for gear shift. So the users may suffer in confusion.

OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT:

The aim of our project is to develop a gear-shift indicator for two-wheelers to
make the user more comfortable.

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:

The application of this project will very useful for manufacturers of automobile
to add this system in their vehicles and make the user ride comfortable.

BRIEF METHODOLOGY:
For sensing the gear movement we use position sensors and some control
electronics. Then the number of the gear is displayed using a seven-segment
display in the front of the indicator panel.

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
The project when implemented in the existing vehicle will indicate the position
of the gear automatically in the front panel display.
