1. Relative to Executive Order No. 66, s. 2O18 titled Imtitutloaelldng tho


Phlllpptne Antt-IUGgal Dnrg. Strrtcgy (PADSf which aims to strengthen and boost the
efforts of the government related to its campaign against illegal drugs, the Department
of Education {DepEd), through the Bureau of karner Support Services-Youth
Formation Division (BLSS-YFD), in partnership with the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB),
will conduct the Scarch for Outrtalalng LcertrG in Dnrg Aburc Prcvcatloa
Advocacy. The DDB will be giving two thousand medals and certificates to learners
who have outstaJrding and active involvement in various drug abuse prevention
advocacies.

2. T'he endeavor aims to improve learners involvement and participation in the


development and implementation of drug prevention policies and programs that
promote healthy lifestyles of young people, and to recognize the role of learners in
preventing the use of illegal drugs in schools to achieve the. govemment's vision of a
drug-free country.

3. Enclosed are the following docume[ts for reference:

Enclosure No. 2 - Allocations of Medals and Certi{icates per Region.

A. STLECTIOil

l. Must be Learner from Public Secondary Schools. (Grade 1O and l2l

2. l*arrter must have an active involvement in vanous Drug Abuse


Prevention Activities.

3. Leamer must be Drug-Frq Oood Moral Character, certified by


the School Guidanc Schoql Head.

4. Learner must be endorsed by the School Head with supporting


document/ s (Accomplishment Report) of the his/ her in the
Preventive Drug Education Campaign. (See attacled template)

5. The selection of the outstanding candidate by school will be


submitted to their Division office starting February 1 until February
29,2O2O. Entries will be selected during the Initial Screening at the
Schools Division Office on March 2-3, 2O2O a.l:.d the selection of the
final candidates will be on March 5,2O2O. The list of finalists to be
submitted to the Regional Office will be on March 6,2O2O, and from
Regional Office to the Central Office through Youth Formation
Division is on March 9 , 2O2O.

6. The selection committee on the Division Office shall be composed of
