SUBJECT USE OF SOGIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS TO INTENSIFY

CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUGS

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 66 series of 2018 institutionalizing the Philippine Anti-
lllegal Drugs Strategy (PADS), this Department is tasked to mobilize the support of
local stakeholders in advocacy and education campaign against illegaldrugs.

ln line with this, all LGUs are enjoined to utilize social media platforms such as
Facebook, Twitter, lnstagram, etc. in informing the public of their respective efforts in
eradicating the drug menace. The hashtag "#DILGPADS" shall also be used in all
posts pertaining to anti-illegal drug programs to create visibility and make it easier for
online users to find posts or information regarding the holistic efforts of the national
govemment.

Furthermore, LGUs are also enjoined to like and share the official Facebook page of
the DILG PADS (facebook.com/dilq.padspmo) and share all its posts in their
respective social media accounts. All posts of LGUs using the official hashtag shall
likewise be shared in the DILG PADS page.

ln order to track their existing and newly created social media accounts, kindly put the
links to the official social media pages of LGUs within your respective areas of
jurisdiction in the Google sheet which can be accessed through
bit.lv/SOCMEDPADS.
