 Rescue Apparatus in mines
1. Protomark apparatus contains 300 lit of oxygen with 150 kg/sq.cm pressure.
2. The reducing valve in protomark SCBA reduces the pressure of O2 supplied to
wearer is 2 lit/min.
3. The weight of CO2 abosorbant in a prototype breathing apparatus is 2 kg.
4. The CO2 abosorbant used in prototype breathing apparatus is calcium hydroxide
and castic soda.
5. The protosorb keeps the % CO2 in the breathing circuit below 2 %.
6.The cooling agent in protosorb breathing apparatus is Sodium Phosphate.
7.The cooling agent in the cooler is in crystal form at ordinary temperatures
