4. PRACTICE : Provide easy-medium-hard questions
5. ENRICHMENT : Pair/small group discussion
6. EVALUATION : Provide alternative formats for students: journal

MEETING
PROCEDURE LEARNERS’ NEEDS

1. ACTIVITY / INTRODUCTION : Game: “Pass the Message”


Let the students have a game to have a recap for the previous lesson about academic writing. They are
group into five then they will have their own position. What they are going to do is one of their group mates pick
a questions then if they know the answer he/she will pass the answer only, but if not he/she must cite the
questions in their group.
a. It describes the location and the loss occurred and required to start any investigation.
b. It is an informative piece of writing concerning a particular person, place, situation, plan, etc.
c. Summary of reports about law enforcement and police problems.
d. Information written in a logical manner or sequence.
e. The purpose is to describe the way things are, this type is mainly used in letter, non-fiction book,
information leaflet, catalogue, etc.
f. Present results so readers can understand a particular problem or situation.
g. This type advocate a particular course of action.
h. This type goes a step beyond presenting results.
i. Describes process, progress and results of scientific research.
j. Describes the ideas for an investigation on a certain topics.

The students group into five they were going to make an academic text based on the topic that they pick.
