METHODOLOGY

Procedures
These are the following procedures in making the clip dustpan as an
alternative to broom and dustpan:
. 1. Prepare the following materials:
• Plastic box
• Recycled handle
• Screws
• Screw driver
2. Prepare the box made of plastic.
3. First, cut the box into half and cut both the edges of the boxes making it
like a roof style when combined.
4. Second, using the recycled handle kindly screw the boxes making it like
clips.
5. Next, screw all parts of the recycled clip dustpan to make it stable.
6. Then, try pulling it off to test the durability of the dustpan.
8. Lastly, check all its parts if it is already stable and test it by clipping a
garbage and throwing the garbage to the trashcan, if it works then you can
now have your own recycled clip dustpan at home.
Research Design

The function of a research design is to ensure that the evidence

obtained enables you to effectively address the research problem as
unambiguously as possible. In social sciences research, obtaining
evidence relevant to the research problem generally entails specifying the
type of evidence needed to test a theory, to evaluate a program, or to
accurately describe a phenomenon. However, researchers can often begin
their investigations far too early, before they have thought critically about
about what information is required to answer the study's research
questions. Without attending to these design issues beforehand, the
conclusions drawn risk being weak and unconvincing and, consequently,
will fail to adequate address the overall research problem.

Research Respondents
The researchers considered the household community of Barangay
Camputhaw. For about 10 household families were chosen to use and
evaluate the usefulness of the clip dustpan.

Research Environment
The researchers conducted their house to house survey located within
their community.

Research Procedure
The researchers first conducted an experimental research to test their
create their product and had a pre-oral defense. To proceed with the
descriptive part of the research, the researchers submitted a letter to the
school principal- Dr. Rosalinda A. Tan with the content of asking for
approval for them to conduct a survey inside the premises. Afterwards, they
went to each classrooms to conduct a survey. But first, they introduced
their study, mainly their objectives and purpose, talked about the
confidentiality of the data and the sampling method which is simple random
sampling. They then proceeded with the distribution of the research
instrument.

Research Instrument
The researcher-made instrument was utilized to determine the level of
effectiveness of clip dustpan. It contain the household evaluation towards
the usefulness of the dustpan. They survey includes respondents profile,
no. of family members, daily use of the dustpan and schedule for cleaning,
durability.

The evaluation of household families show that the clip dustpan plays an
important role in doing household chores. The clip dustpan is so useful and
duable to acquire. Aside from it's made from fhe recycled material it only
requires small amount of time to clean up the garabes and it can be use in
dual purpose.

SUMMARY OF FINDINGS, CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Summary of Findings

The Effectiveness of Clip dustpan

The effectiveness of the dustpan is vital to household families especially on

taking time of their household chores. The clip dustpan gives a big role in
making the household chores to be lighter than having yhe usual broom
and dustpan.

Conclusion

Based on the researcher’s Summary of Findings, the researchers conclude

the following:
1. The clip dustpan is effective in terms of doung household chores
2. The clip dustpan only requires a few amount of time to grab the
garbages and throw it to the trashcan.

Recommendations

1. It is recommended that the Clip dustpan made by the researchers should

be produced.
2. The researchers, together with the brgy officials should share this idea
of having recycled clip dutpan on order to be used by the community.
3. The researchers should present this idea to the product makers in
relations to household tools in order to use this idea and produce it to a
bigger market.
