Class Participation
Your class participation will be determined by your attendance, your preparation for
each class, and the extent to which you contribute to the group’s learning during each
class session. I will emphasize the quality of participation (i.e., comments that
demonstrate the understanding of the topic, reading, or other material being
discussed) more heavily than the quantity of participation. The objective of
participating is to share knowledge and insights that enhance the overall learning.
The best way to prepare for class is by reading, thinking about, and attempting to
apply the course materials outside of class.

PERFORMANCE EVALUATION

The final grade will be assigned according to the following:

First exam 20%
Second exam 20%
Final exam 40%
