STAFF PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT

DEPUTY MANAGING DIRECTOR

EMPLOYEES ASSESSMENT 2020 JULY
1. AHIMIDIWE MASSAWE
As the General Manager of the Company he is supposed to take all responsibilities
regarding the running of the industry. So far he is doing well. I think he’s going to be
better as time goes on, fast adjustment is needed.

2. SAMSON JULIUS
As a HR of the Company he is supposed to be taking care of all things regarding
administration and employees and people in the Company. He’s a bit slow when it comes
to taking action against problems and sometimes short tempered for no reason. He is
supposed to arrive earlier at work than other but sometimes he comes late even last of all
which makes it difficult for him to monitor others. Much improvement is needed
especially when it comes to discipline issues of employees and other activities.
3. ATHANAS SIRRO
As the Company Sales and Marketing Manager he is supposed to find, serve and monitor
markets and customers. He is too talkative instead and does less action more than the way
he speaks. It’s possible to be true that if sales people and their drivers don’t bribe him
with small stuffs like bananas or sometimes charcoal from their routes out of Mwanza
they won’t be in good terms. He is not performing at his maximum as expected from the
beginning instead he thinks of unnecessary things like allowances and car for home to
work transportation. He does not come to work on Sundays saying there is no allowance
from us like the sales people and drivers under him; I can say he keeps himself first
priority and not his job. He does not like to be questioned and he has a poor way of
reporting towards the office or his people below him. We gave him order books for
pressing loading orders but sends phone messages instead.Does not care about company
car the he drives and does not even wash it to make sure it is clean as it is used to carry
food products. Use of bad language and improper treatment of customers especially
women. He allows sales to go off routes like Mbeya routes and as long as they provide
him with small gifts and money he keeps quiet.
4. LEVINA ROMAN
Works as an Accountant in the Company. She doesn’t attend her duties on time such as
submission of daily sales reports that have to be submitted every day in the evening but
instead they are submitted in the morning the next day. She leaves early from work like
you also noticed she can say she is going out for lunch then doesn’t come back. She
doesn’t go into details in her work she does only check sales doesn’t check receipts and
other supporting documents.
5. HASSAN SHIKILA
Also works as an accountant. He also sometimes comes late to work and sometimes
leaves early and he is mostly destructed at work with family problems especially his wife
who seems to have problems several times causing him to be destructed at work.
6. ELISHA BONIPHACE
Works as an engineer in the garage. He also sometimes comes late to work but he attends
his duties although he seems not motivated in mechanics than driving. Sometimes he
goes with Kweba to his routes without office permission.
7. JOHN EZEKIEL
He is a storekeeper that should be taking care of water stock available in the store. That is
he should make sure daily stock report is being reported but instead he is always in a rush
of going home that makes him not submit reports. To my observation he is not using the
stock books daily as they were made for instead he uses them weekly or three days. He
also comes late not too late but he makes the sales people delay in the morning as they
have wait for him. He and the marketing manager have been communicating loading
orders by phone while we said documents should be used and books are available. I
suggest we bring back Phidelisy to store as he is good at that job. He is also in the same
crew with Kweba as I am sure he knows he is going to other regions and I am worried he
might be overloading to him so he can get return.
8. JUMA MJAHASI
An operator/engineer/supervisor in the production system. He is good at his job comes to
work on time. I have no problem with him.
9. PETER MGAYWA
Operator/engineer/supervisor/electrician in the production system. He is good at his work
too comes to work on time if there is no reason to make him delay. I have no problem
with him too.
10. HYNESS MOSHA
Works as a RO operator and supervisor. She just needs to adjust to being strict when it
comes to environment cleanliness, production hygiene and general supervision in the
production process. Otherwise I can say I have no problem with her too.
11. IDDY MOHAMED
Works as an injection machine operator, he comes to work on times and reports on time
the only problem we had is the payments before work which was usually made before
weekends nights but we changed that and we now make payments after work. Otherwise
I don’t have any problem with him.
12. FREDY GEORGE
Injection machine operator. He does his job okay but the problem with him he doesn’t
report problems on time to the supervisors. Otherwise he has no problem.
13. YUSTINO SEMHANDO
Injection machine operator too. He has the same problem as he doesn’t report problems
to supervisors on time, otherwise there is no problem.
14. MASHIKU CLEMENT
Works as a blowing machine operator. He comes to work on time does his work on time I
have no problem with him maybe he also doesn’t report problems on time such as lights
go off or die they don’t report to their supervisors.
15. RASHIDY NG’AZI
Labeling and shrinking machine operator, does his job okay, comes to work on time but
the problem we faced with him was leaking company information to outside people to
which the punishment according to the contract is summary dismissal but he was warned,
I hope he has changed. Otherwise I have no problem with him.
16. ALPHA SOITI
Filling machine operator. Does his job okay but he has a stupid habit of money first in
order to work. I don’t know if the past GM used to offer them money before work. If we
plans as the company to come for production especially on Sundays because of the water
shortage we had before he never came to work.

17. REHEMA YAHYA

Production line worker quality check. She is under my last verbal warning as since she
was employed she started doing stupid things like wanting to choose what position to
work, comes to work late. This made much of the time reject bottles to pass through as
she doesn’t concentrate with her work.

18. AGNESS JOHN

Quality and label check in production line. She comes to work on time but works while
tired causing her to sleep in the production. Otherwise I think she has no problem.
19. KWEBA CHUMA
Works as a sales and driver in external routes. He comes to work late sometimes might
leave without notice but says Athanas granted him permission as these two people are
very close due to the fact that Kweba brings him bananas and other stuffs and recently as
we stopped him from bringing the stuffs as the company doesn’t gain any of the goods
they carry he now passes through Buhongwa to Kishiri to drop the goods at Athanas’s
place and his place then comes to work. He made decisions twice by himself to go to
Chunya and lying to the office that he has gone to Karagwe and bad enough he goes with
Elisha Boniphace and completely denies he did not go there. He has no most ferry and
fuel receipts that show he is stealing from us and Levina does not ask anything until I ask
myself after going through. Fuso tyres get worn out earlier than scania as more work is
done by the car apart from work given to it. If he comes here he has orders in hand but
uses the same three days to stay there that means he supplies in two days the one
remaining day uses it to supply other goods. Offers discounts to customers something we
said no to.
20. ELISHA LYAMBA
Sales in scania. He is not bad at his work but he is not chasing his target so well. He also
offers discounts to customers while it is not allowed in the external roots. Otherwise I
have no problem with him.
21. SYLIVESTER KASONGO
Driver in Scania. He comes to work late and rarely puts on uniforms. He comes to work
with shorts something I have said it is not allowed but he keeps on doing it. Otherwise I
have no problem with him.
22. JOHN DANIEL
Driver of a canter. I can say he does his job although he sometimes comes late to work
maybe because he comes in late nights. Kweba and his crew that is Elisha, John Ezekiel,
Athanas don’t like him because he does report to me if he finds something is wrong so
this makes him not at a good environment at work. But he has no problem.
23. JUMA TINGO
Sales person in John Daniel’s car. He is too slow to planning his stuffs we have reminded
him several times but he has slowness within him. He is very forgetful as well. He is a bit
slow to chasing his target thus decreasing sales target. Comes late to work and very late
while he lives near work. So if he adjusts his slowness and becomes a fast thinker he is a
good person to use. He is also slow to collecting his debts very slow in deed and has a
discount giving tendency which is not good.
24. JUMANNE MAGOMA
Sales person in Daudi Roberts canter. He could be a good sales person but he has some
sense of childish within him he has to be reminded every time to collect his debts. He
comes to work late sometimes though he lives near the industry. He needs to be reminded
with a warning later and if doesn’t change he can be removed.
25. DAUDI ROBERT
Driver in a canter. He comes to work on time, I have no problem with him at all.

26. KILILI KIHARATA

Sales at Tarime. He has changed from the way he was in the first place. He has become
lazy even to count his own stock that means they might be stealing from him without his
own knowledge. He is not active enough to plan his routes and attend them. He doesn’t
send an earlier order for water delivery. In short he has become lazy.
27. COSMAS MUNISHI
Driver at Tarime route. He has a problem with disciplinary issues with customers and
other people around him. Having separated the water department from electric appliances
there should be a change in sales and work we will notice as we go on. I cannot say much
about him because much is being reported by other people as we are far from
observation.
28. EMMANUEL KERARYO
Works as an electrician in the night duty. I don’t think there is a need to have him if the
machines can run without any problem and I believe even if something goes wrong at
night Peter can come to help as he does not live far from work. I said that because I came
at work on Saturday night just not find him at work. So I don’t think there is a necessity
to have him.
29. DANSTAN NSHEKELA
He is a new salesman to the company. He has no problem as he comes early to work and
he does his job well. If there is weakness we will notice as we go on.
30. RUBEN MACHIBYA
He is a new driver. He does his job well comes to work on time, if there are weaknesses
we will see as we go on.
31. PHIDELISY MLELWA
He is a salesman and driver. He does his job well and I have no problem with him. But if
there is a chance we need to return him to store.
32. GEORGE IBOKA
He is a driver. Comes to work early but he is being delayed by his salesperson. There is a
stupid habit led by his salesperson that any other salesperson should not interfere with
their route but at the same time they are the ones interfering other peoples’ routes.
33. ESTHER CHARLES
She is a Saleslady. Comes to work late and if asked she responds like she’s the boss. She
really doesn’t care about it as long as the Director comes and she pretends to be humble.
She is most stubborn person when it comes to wearing of uniforms. A day doesn’t end
well without being questioned on uniforms. She and George chase other salespeople from
their route that is they stop selling and start chasing them which is misuse of fuel and
time. So far the people they chase came to attend new customers that they never attended
before. I can term that as selfishness which is so unnecessary as the money goes in the
same account and the products sold are the same.
34. NEEMA JACKSON
She is a customer care in the town depot. She attends her duties nicely though she
sometimes makes late order for stock. Otherwise I have no problem with her.
35. LAMECH MAPUGA
He is a driver. Comes to work on time he used not to care much about the car but I have
seen him improving. So far I have no problem as he is flexible enough.
36. FABIAN GOMBA
He is a salesperson. Comes to work early attends his duties. He has a problem of lying
and increasing number of debtors so much especially without staff permission. Apart
from that I don’t have a problem.

37. LENARSON MABUGO

He is a driver. He is good at his work but he has a problem of coming late to work. If he
can work on his attendance I have no other problem with him.
38. MREMA MAKUA
He is a salesperson. He may seem good at his work but he is lazy especially when he is in
the route, he is not self-motivated and very slow to his work. If he can improve that he
can be a good one.

FINALLY

If people can be warned by letters to remind them of their duties and an example of
anyone can be removed or fired from job then that can awaken other people. The
company doesn’t stop if anyone leaves so HR should be able to punish regarding to the
signed contracts. This will help improve discipline.
REGARDS.
