PMS CHECK LIST

(1)-Travelling Block and Hook

To be done prior to each trip.
-Grease all points.
-Check all bolts/Check condition of wheels.
-Check locking mechanism and hook latch and grease them
(DAILY)
-Visaully check pins and locks
-Check equipment condition visually

SWIVEL:-
Record and monitor Number of Hours on Wash Pipe Packing use.
Change wash pipe packing every after 450-500 hrs of use.
Grease wash pipe packing every drillers shift of 12 hrs.
Check and top up oil.

(2)-Crown Block Assembly (Weekly)

-Grease Crown Block bearings
Any abnormalities observed to be reported to Tool pusher

(3)-Stand Pipe Mainfold (Weekly)

-Grease valves and check for freedom of movement of valve on stand pipe manifold
And Mud Pumps.
-Check for any leak from pressure sensor hoses and check for proper
indication
-Checkstand pipe mounting clamps for any looseness.
-Check hammer union threads when mud pressure hoses are removed and grease
during rig moves.

(4)-ANNULAR PREVENTER - DAILY

-Check for general Condition and Cleaniness
-Check condition of packing element through the bore.
-Whenever any seal is suspected of leaking, it is advised that all seal be
replaced.
-Check for any hydraulic leak from any hydraulic pressure lines
(5)TYPE "U" CAMERON Double RAM BOP

DAILY
-Ensure proper function of rams and inspect hydraulic system
-Check for general condition and cleaniness
-Check for any hydraulic leak

(6)-CHOKE LINE HOSE

-Check the physical condition of hose

-Check safety line

(7) Choke Line & Kill Line Valve (Weekly)

-Grease all valves

DAILY

- Check the operation of valves

Drillers BOP Control Panel (Daily)

- Check pressure gauges

- Carry out function test
Report any abnormalities to Mech/Elect

Choke Manifold (Weekly)

- Grease all valves

DAILY

- Check the operation of all valves

RETSCO RELIEF VALVE ON MP 1 & 2 (WEEKLY)

- Check the condition of the load spring
- Check the free movement of the release button
- Check the free movement of reset handle
- Apply grease through grease nipple.

LO TORQUE VALVE (WEEKLY)

- Grease the valve
- Check for leak
DAILY

- Check for smooth operation

DRILL PIPE SPINNER

DAILY

- Check condition of air hoses.

- Graese all points
- Check condition of rollers.
- Report any abnormalities to Ch.Mech.

(WEEKLY)

- Thoroughly wash the spinner with rig soap and brush after each trip.
- Inform Ch. Mech. to carry out maintenance.
- After each trip inspect safety cables and hanger springs.

SAFETY CLIMB (WEEKLY)

- Check the operation
- Check the line and clamp for any damage.

KELLY BUSHING & ROLLER ASSY (DAILY)

- Grease all rollers
- Apply liberal amount Grease on outer face
- Check for any wear.

MAINT. FOR D.P HAND SLIPS SDML AND TUBING SLIPS

DAILY

- Apply liberal amount of grease on outerface

- Check dies
- Check handles for wear

WEEKLY/DAILY MAINT. ELEVATORS

- Grease moving parts and joints/check spring.

- Check latching lips/check for any wear out collars.

MUD PUMPS FLUID END

DAILY
-Check liner cooling system is clean and check spray system working properly.
- Check Pulsation dampner pressure.
- Check for any abnormal noise.

WEEKLY
-Check and clean the suction and discharge strainers.
