1. Learning needs related to the video/article/topic presented;

The learning needs relevant to the topic discussed can be on the idea of how can
crafting classroom blueprints significantly affect students’ experience which in turn
would guarantee understanding and retention.
2. Brief summary of main learning activities;
Throughout the online discussion, activities are not comparable on physical or on-site
classes given the limitations of distance learning. At most, activities were done in the
form of open recitation where the learners are asked to share their insights on the topics
discussed. Apart from that, the learner’s answers are also accommodated through
verbal reinforcements.
In general, I would say that the activities are actually effective especially with
consideration on the type of platform used today.
3. Evaluative Statement re: the relevance and applicability of the content of the
video/article/topic in the work place;
The highlight of the topics revolve in one bottom line – how can teachers better
formulate classroom activities which can suit not only the students’ capabilities but so as
their need as a progressive being.
By principle, the theory of Edgar Dale can never be insignificant in the aspect of
education. It has always been one of the primary considerations in planning instructional
activities for various students. This theory can spur ideas and will no longer limit the
learning experience of students unto traditional methods.
In essence, I can really say that it is already an embedded and unnoticed element that
teachers practice and it can be that these are already made and done without formal
recognition of its proponent. It can also be that it is done upon comprehending the
theoretical value and practicability of the concept.
Either way, the topic is so beneficial inside the academe.
4. Any challenges/areas for development in the workplace;
In the academe, the concern is always about the students and how are they
reconsidered in the planning of instructional activities. Alongside with that can be the
actualization of plans as crafted by the teacher.
There are two levels of reason on how we can better combat this. First, there has to be
an utmost participation coming from the students for them to lay down what would deem
necessary for teacher to be mindful of. Second, teachers should embrace the idea of the
whole teaching profession along with the responsibilities that it require.
Though this would vary according to context, one should never deny that the same
context is shared by a lot of institutions.

5. Significant learning insights;

“A lot of significant things are left overlooked.”
As a self-proclaimed passionate teacher, I have been visualizing a grandiose and lavish
presentations with so much emphasis on improving excellent thinking skills. I have been
expecting a lot to the point of forcing a picture-perfect class setup in a dynamic and
complex academe.
My whole point here is that, before we try to go through grandness, it is very important
to recognize necessities to better come up into a significant and relevant outcome. It this
case, it refers to planning along with the simple-little nuances it requires.
If the goal is effective student learning, then the teacher must not only emphasize the
teaching process and evaluation. There must be an utmost consideration on the types of
learner a teacher have alongside with their individual difference. It is only through this
that nuances are accommodated and well dealt.
If the goal is overall success in classroom experience, then the teacher must be able to
carefully plan and organize the skeleton of it. Thus, it will attempt to give no room for
possible failures and in turn would provide high probabilities of making the plan possible.
This is not only be applicable in the classroom setting but in life as a whole too. While I
strive for all the grand and best things in life, I sometimes tend to overlook the
necessaries of life. I sometimes forget to be happy, satisfied and enjoy simple luxury
that life has to offer—the gift of life, family, passing of days, friends which are actually
vital in the achievement of what I really want.
Therefore, as an educator and a human, I should never overshadow the “importants”
with what I really want. I should stoop down to the basics and recognize its embedded
value to the totality of my expected outcome. For it is simple the little details that
compose greatness.

6. Suggestions for improving the content of the video/article/topic.

Though there is much commendation of making the online classes smooth and
successful, there has to be few mediations to better improve and expect better outcome.
I would like to suggest continued proofreading of the content presented for sometimes,
details are overlooked. This is actually important since language use can alter the
meaning of the text and the comprehension of its reader.
Other than that, I find no other discontent regarding the presentation. Special
commendation to the professor too for placing added descriptions on the concepts in
order for the learners to better comprehend the topic.
