Countries and Climate

Select 2 cities from the following list:

 Rome
 Sydney

1) Investigate about these cities, the country and continent where the city is located, its climate and
some activities you think that can be done in that city.

Rome is in Italy, which is located in Europe. Rome has mediterranean climate, that means it can get hot
and dry summers and winters are mild and wet. If I could visit Rome, I would like to go explore the city
and its monuments. I would like to see the Roman Coliseum, the Roman Forum, The Pantheon and The
Column of Marcus Aurelius.

Sydney is in Australia, which is located in Oceania (Australia). Sydney has humid tropical, that means
warm to hot summers and cool winters with some rain all year round. If I could visit Sydney, I would like
to go Sydney Opera House.

2) What is the climate like in Santo Domingo?

The Climate in Dominican Republic is tropical dry, because is always hot with heavy rain in the wet
season and less rain in the dry season, but, in cyclone season the climate is tropical wet, because is
always hot and humid with heavy rain.
