2. Rewrite sentences from active to passive and passive to active;
3. Appreciate the lesson by defining what an active and passive voice is.

1. Motivation
The teacher will post set of
sentences in a form of active and
passive voice on the board. Let the
students notice what’s the
difference between the sentences
given is.
2. Presentation
The teacher will explain what’s the
difference between the two is.
3. Discussion
Active voice – the object receives
the action of the verb
[doer of action] + [verb] +
[receiver of action]

1. Evaluation
Rewrite each sentence changing
the active voice to passive voice
and passive voice to active voice.
2. Thomas feeds his dog.

5. The spider was killed by the
boy.
6. The critic wrote a sarcastic
review.
IV. Assignment
Have an advance study for the
various forms of active and
passive voice.
