The student understands the teacher's comments and responses without much

difficulty and further explanations.


The student responds well in class though he sometimes have a hard time expressing
the right words to use.
He pronounces the words properly except for words with /l/ and /r/ sounds.
He uses common words in his sentences though sometimes, he commits mistakes in the
proper word usage.
He can construct simple sentences though he still needs to review the basic
sentence patterns.

The student could understand and comprehend the topics without much difficulty.
The student could enunciate words clearly though some lapses on complex words with
difficult pronunciation were observed.
The student had good command in grammar and could express himself well in simple
but concise sentences, though lapses on the use of articles and prepositions were
observed.
The student uses simple words and expressions in expressing his thoughts.
The student could maintain good conversations about any topic in class and
spontaneous in giving responses.

The student may focus more on the proper use of articles and prepositions. He may
also expose himself more on the use of the English language by reading English
materials and watching English videos or movies. In this way, he could be more
familiarized with different English words and expressions.

I really appreciate our effort because you are good in listening skills and
comprehension. You were able to understand simple questions. It''s quite nice to
hear that your listening and comprehension skills are improving. So keep it up!!
The best way to improve pronunciation is by watching native English programs,
movies with subtitles and listening to English songs, with the lyrics in front of
you.

You have improved so much in terms of your confidence in expressing your ideas. You
just need to focus more on the grammar lapses that you usually commit particularly
on the use of articles and prepositions. You also need to enunciate words clearly
and avoid eating the words to have a more spontaneous delivery of your thoughts.

The student is quite responsive in class although he needed time before he


responds. He could complete the activities in the book but finds it hard to
participate in discussions. I suggest that he be more responsive so he could
practice his skills more. Also, he can expose himself more to English materials
like English movies or books so he would be more familiar with the language.

The student can maintain good discussion about any topic in class although he
sometimes finds it hard to think of the proper words to use and had some minor
lapses with regard to the use of proper prepositions and linking verbs. I suggest
that he review on those points and expose himself more to the English language so
he be more familiarized with some expressions. Anyhow, he is getting better in our
classes because of his cooperation.

The student is able to maintain a good conversation about any topic. He responds
well to the teacher and comes up with relevant ideas. He just needs to focus on the
grammar lapses that he usually commits especially on the verb tenses and
prepositions. Anyhow, he shows improvements especially in expressing himself in
class.
