I am writing this reference at the request of Karolina Ferhatovic, who has been a student of mine over the
past year at Rasmussen College. I have had the pleasure of being Karolina’s Fundamentals course
instructor, lab instructor, and simulation instructor at various points throughout nursing school.

Karolina has several strengths I’d like to share. She is self-motivated and enjoys being challenged in the
clinical setting to improve knowledge and hands-on skills. Karolina has a very strong confidence level,
but is not scared to ask questions and seek out answers, which will shape her into a great nurse that
provides safe and appropriate care to patients. She has many personality traits that will make her a great
leader in any aspect of nursing in the future, as she pays very close attention to detail, multitasks with
ease, and handles stressful situations very professionally. Karolina is always eager to learn and take
advantage of any opportunities presented. I am positive that Karolina will continue on after nursing
school to be an extremely caring and compassionate nurse that will always advocate for her patients.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend Karolina Ferhatovic for a position in an acute care facility. If
her performance is anything like it was when I had the privilege of teaching her throughout the nursing
