Answer: National ICT policy is a policy put into place so that
the government and stakeholders can access information that is committed to bringing digital technology to all individuals and communities. The implication of national ICT policy on teaching and learning is it will help to support teachers to provide effective feedback or use more helpful representation. This will help students to search subjects, share ideas, and learn specific skills. and the other one is ICT4Ed ( ICT for education)- a program that supports all the efforts of the education sector incorporating the use of ICT as well as determining and gaining access to the infrastructure which are necessary to use and deploy learning technologies to all the levels of education. The implication of it to teaching and learning, using ICT for education to support teaching and learning is time-consuming for teachers. And it will provide learners an opportunity to develop, creativity communication skills and other thinking skills. 2. Explain some issues that relate to the ICT policies? Answer: Some issues that related to the ICT policies are freedom of expression and censorship it means that everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression the right includes freedom to hold opinion without interference and to seek. Censorship is the suppression or prohibition of any parts of books, film, news, etc. that are considered obscene, politically unacceptable, or a threat to security. Privacy and security mean our personal info our right to it to not be shown or gave to anyone.
3. As a future teacher, how will you appropriately use
technology for teaching and learning so that your learners will benefit most? Answer: As a future teacher, l will use technology infuses classroom with digital learning tools such as computers, handheld devices, expands course offerings experiences, and learning materials. So in that way, they would be able to know it, and it will lead them to motivate and knowledgeable when it comes to technology. 4. Why is it necessary that we have an ICT policy teaching and learning? Answer: We must have ICT for teaching and learning because ICT helps teachers to interact with students and it helps in improves teaching skills, it helps in innovative teaching. It also helps in improving professional development as well as enhances the active learning of teacher trainees.
