COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING

LEARNING FEEDBACK DIARY(LFD #5)

What I did for today was scanning through the internet and searching about
some of the countries issues that I can relate to USNDG of UN and WHO. After that I
memorized all the MDGs and there were 8 of them these are the end of poverty and
hunger, promote gender equality and empower women because some have no respect
especially in the LGBTQ families and even women in some cases were just
underestimated and maltreated by their husbands. Achieve universal primary
education especially those in remote areas of the community, it is important to be
addressed in order to achieve sustainable development and is for future generation,
ensure environmental sustainability, reduce child mortality and improve maternal
health like access to affordable medical care, these can able mother to have prenatal
care and other comprehensive preconception not only for them but also for children
and their families as well. Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases, because as
of today it’s still increasing in numbers and it is very detrimental if it intensify. A
nurse should be responsible individual in dealing with families, working with families
has never been more complex or rewarding than now. Nurses understand the actual
and potential impact that families have in changing the health status of Filipinos.
Additionally, families have challenging health care needs that are not usually
addressed by the health care system. Instead, the health care system most frequently
addresses the individual. You should address complex issues that impact family health
and suggests methods to improve family health. I also scanned about USNDG the
goals to be met, everyone needs to do their part: governments, the private sector, civil
society and the general public. While the Global Goals are not legally binding,
governments are expected to take ownership and establish national frameworks for
the achievement of the 17 Goals. Countries have the primary responsibility for
follow-up and review of the progress made in implementing the Goals, which will
require quality, accessible and timely data collection. Regional follow-up and review
will be based on national-level analyses and contribute to follow-up and review at the
global level. The Goals begin with Goal 1 – No Poverty, to mark the continuation of
the MDGs ambition to eliminate extreme poverty,. They end with Goal 17 –
Partnerships for the Goals to emphasise a continued commitment to work together in
order to achieve progress for all. The order of the other goals does not signify any
priority as all are critical and interdependent. Choosing one Goal to support is a good
way to start, and to take specific action. However, all the Goals are interlinked, so by
supporting one Goal your actions will have positive impacts on other Goals. For
example, promoting gender equality (Goal 5) in your school will help support a
growing economy (Goal 8) and quality education for all (Goal 4). After these, I read
other books and I’ve done exercising to refresh my mind and body, I fed my dog, and
helped my uncle in baking a bread for our dinner. I wan to know more about
Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health Nutrition, thank you.
