Welcome to this course, Basic Mental Health and Psychological First Aid in the School and the

Workplace.

This 8-hour on-line course will officially open on March 1, 2019 at 10:00am PST and will run through May
31, 2019. Chapters will be released on a drip method, where chapters will be made available to the learner after
a few days after enrollment. Learners have the option to take the course on their own pace, taking the modules
anytime, anywhere. Please note, however, that as per the Professional Regulation Commission guidelines, you
need to complete the course within 30 days. You will have full access of your enrolled course for 30 days
from the date of your enrollment. For those who pre-enrolled prior to March 1, your access to the course will
be March 1-31, 2019. Enrollment from March 1 onward will have access for 30 days thereafter. Learners who
do not complete the course within the allotted 30 days will not receive a certificate of completion and would be
required to re-enroll the program, should they wish to continue.

After you complete the course, make sure to take the Post-Test and Program Evaluation. These are pre-
requisites before you can receive your Certificate of Completion. After you complete the course, you will
receive a .pdf file of your certificate via e-mail. 

Please also ensure that your profile is updated, including details about your profession, PRC Registration
#/PRC ID Number, Date of Initial Registration, and Validity of your PRC ID. You can update this by clicking
My Account. Incomplete professional information may lead to delays in the issuance of your certificate of
completion.

The PRC-Continuing Professional Development Council for Psychology has granted eight (8) CPD points for
Psychologists and Psychometricians who complete this program, with Program Accreditation # PSYCH-2018-
028-272.

This 8-hour course is divided into 7 Chapters. Each chapter have several modules that includes video lectures
and reading supplements. Your progress is monitored based on completing each module and the learning
checks included for every chapter. You will not be able to move to the next module or next chapter unless you
have completed the previous chapters. Likewise, you will not be able to move to the next chapter unless you
complete the learning check in the chapter.
