Recall the previous lesson.

C. Presentation
Say:
This morning we are going to discuss about speech context in communication. At the end of the lesson,
you are expected to:
a. Identify the various types of speech context
D. Activity
DO:
Group the students into three (3) groups.
Have the students present/ role play the given scenario.
E. Analysis
Ask the students about the context of the scenarios, the number of people involved, etc. leading to the
identification of the types of speech context.
F. Abstraction
DO:
Discuss/ Present the types of speech context.
Give local or community scenarios as examples.
G. Application/ Evaluation
Do:
Have the students differentiate the types of speech context.
V. ASSESSMENT
Identify the type of speech context shown/ presented in the given scenarios.
1. Mario was thinking of a way how he can improve his communication skills. He reflects on his learning
strategies.
2. On his way to school, Ana encountered John. They exchanged conversations and went on their way.
V.ASSIGNMENT
Select one from the given types of speech context and then create a sample scenario.
Write your answer on a sheet of paper.
