Evidence: My presentation outline

A. Find a topic of personal interest. Imagine you are going to present that topic
orally to your teacher and classmates at school. For this part of the evidence
you need to carry out exhaustive research in order to be able to present all the
necessary information related to your selected topic. Report the most important
aspects of your research through a brainstorm of the ideas and concepts that
you think will be relevant to the presentation.

Example of topic: Aviation.

 Aviation refers to the use of commercial and non-commercial aircrafts

for transportation of people or goods.

 The A380, manufactured by the Airbus Industry, is the biggest plane

ever made.

Topic: Game console

 Electronic home entertainment system that runs video games.

 In the video game industry, game consoles have been classified into
different generations.

 The most powerful video console in the world is the play station 4
B. Now, structure your presentation using the Signpost language learnt during this
learning activity. Present your outline through presentation cards. Use as many
cards as you need.

Remember: Each presentation card should include a

heading, a phrase at the bottom, a number and it should be
organized by numbering and bulleting.

Let’s turn now to the first part: the early beginnings

of aviation…

 Game console

I’m going to divide this talk into four parts.

1. Early beginnings.
2. Diferent generations.
3. Console classes
4. Best selling consoles

Let's start by early beginnings, the first game consoles

that appeared on the market had an 8-bit processor. As of
the second generation, some manufacturers already
presented 16-bit equipment.

Moving on to generations we found 9 generations starting

with Atari Pong in 1972 until we reached the next play
station 5 to be launched at the end of this year.

Now let's look at console classes like desktop consoles

whitch are the consoles that can only be played on
televisions for example Xbox series x, next we found the
portable consoles like game boy and finally the hybrid
consoles in other words use in both ways like Nintendo
switch.

The next issue talk about the best selling consoles

with the first position we find the play station 2 with sales
of 160 million dollars, followed by the nintendo ds with
sales of 154 million dollars and in third position we find
the game boy with sales of 118 million dollars

The significance of this is we found an industry that

generates a lot of research and development but that in
turn generates hundreds of millions worldwide.
C. To complete the evidence, you must now write a complete list of references
using the guidelines given by the American Psychological Association (APA). Do
not forget to organize your references alphabetically.
