All: Let us come before him with rejoicing,
and extol him with music and song.

* OPENING HYMN 715 Rejoice, the Lord Is King DARWALL’S 148th

1. Rejoice, the Lord is King! Rejoice, your Lord and King adore;
mortals, give thanks and sing, and triumph evermore.
Lift up your heart, lift up your voice;
rejoice; again I say, rejoice.
2. Jesus the Savior reigns, the God of truth and love;
when he had purged our stains, he took his seat above.
Lift up your heart, lift up your voice;
rejoice; again I say, rejoice.
3. His kingdom cannot fail; he rules o'er earth and heaven;
the keys of earth and hell are to our Jesus given.
Lift up your heart, lift up your voice;
rejoice; again I say, rejoice.
4. Rejoice in glorious hope! Jesus the Judge shall come,
and take his servants up to their eternal home.
We soon shall hear th'archangel's voice;
the trump of God shall sound, rejoice!

* AFFIRMATION OF FAITH (The Apostles’ Creed)

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth;
and in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried;
the third day he rose from the dead;
he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
Amen.
* GLORIA PATRI 70 MEINEKE
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost.
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen. Amen.

CALL TO PRAYER
When we gather to praise God, we remember that we are people who have
preferred our wills to his. Accepting his power to become new persons in Christ,
let us now go before God and one another.

CONGREGATIONAL PRAYER
God of birth, God of joy, and God of love, we come to you as a people hungry for good
news. We have preoccupied ourselves with pleasures and have overlooked the joy you
offer us. We have been so concerned with making a living that we have missed the love
you have always shown us. Forgive us, gracious God. Open our eyes and our hearts to
receive your gift; open our lips and hands to share it with all humanity in the name of
our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

PASTORAL PRAYER

THE LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,
for Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Let him fill your heart and satisfy your soul.

will descend upon your life and make you whole.
Jesus, O Jesus, come and fill your lambs.
Jesus, O Jesus, come and fill your lambs.
2. O come and sing this song with gladness as your hearts are filled with joy.
Lift your hands in sweet surrender to his name.

MINISTRY SPOTLIGHT
Central’s finance team is an often-unnoticed part of our church operation. Their work behind the scenes
is vital to keeping our missions and ministries running. Each week they are busy processing the
contributions made by the church family, making payments to our vendors and missionary partners,
running payroll, managing our bank accounts, maintaining our financial reporting, and providing
quarterly financial statements to our donors. They are a small group, but they oversee the finances for
the main campus, Genesis campus, UA Wesley College Ministry, and the Central Children’s Academy.
Their works involves handling literally thousands of transactions and processing and tracking several
million dollars annually. We are grateful for their hard work. All of our records are reviewed annually by
an independent auditor to ensure proper handling of your donations. Thank you for placing your trust in
us.
