Issue: Violence
Violence is very rampant in our society. Especially violence against women are

very common issue in our societies because of this patriarchal mindset of the society.

In this idea, violence against women is really happening. Sexual abuse, sexual

harassment, forced prostitution, war rape and others are common. It is necessary to

provide women protection from violence. Government and even though small group

of people want to address this issue.

Advocacy: Youth as Agents of Change

This advocacy Youth as Agents of Change aimed to describe on why violence

against women subsisted. It also establishing the government which will strengthen

the programs to protect the women from gender-based violence and the projects

which will be made to address violence against women. It will increase awareness to

all people about this issue. Also, it engages youth with committed vision to address

the problem of violence against women providing support to communities and

affected individuals.

Achievement Indicators:

 Restrain the instances of discrimination and violation against women’s right

 Reduce the number of victims from the violence.

 Strengthen equal right and treatment before the law.

Project of this Advocacy

This advocacy is intended to create and lunch a programs to address this kind of

issue. Lunching a seminars, lecture and film viewing to the youth in our society are

some of the programs of this advocacy.

Seminar is a form of academic instruction, either at an academic institution or offered

by a commercial or professional organization. It has the function of bringing together

small groups for recurring meetings, focusing each time on some particular subject, in

which everyone present is requested to participate. With this kind of activity,

advocators will extend their hand to all the youth in the societies. It can open the eyes

of the youth how rampant and how these issues change the life of individual.

Lecture is a speech read or delivered before an audience or class, especially for

instruction or to set forth some subject. It may encourage youth to take over and will

be the agent of change. Make them realize the negative effects of this issue to their

lives. Enlighten and open the eyes and heart of young man to respect the woman

whether what her status in life.

Film viewing is critically and attentively means to realize cinema with greater

thought and awareness, and to elevate one's celluloid experience. Filming a true to life

story of this kind of issue can make the youth to ascertain the consequences of this

issue. Also it will manage the patriarchal mindset of societies and to see the

importance of the women in our societies.

Contribution to School
 School is where everyone can meet regardless of their sexuality. We cannot avoid

the violence in the school, the violence is always there. This kind of will help the

people specially the school in maintaining peace and order and to avoid violence

against women. This would help them to have sensitiveness on socio-cultural

diversity and changes to give respect and avoid discrimination. And also, even

without the advocates in the school it will continue the advocacy because it will

remain to the mind and heart of all teacher, faculty and stuffs and the students how

important to discuss this kind of issue in our societies.
