In our present society, we can notice all kinds of differences in people in the world that

may result in inequality, injustice, and all sorts of abuses. In order to create a better world, we
have to be sensitive about these things and respond in kind manner. Below are societal
problems which need solutions from an intersubjective point of view. Understand each
statement and give concrete solutions. Use the ideas on intersubjectivity elaborated by the
philosophers we discussed. 3-5 sentences are enough.

1. Instead of showing mercy, many people make fun of persons with disabilities.
-An emphasized advocacy should be emphasized through social media, or televisions. It
should be told that having a disability does not make you less human, and they should be
treated nicely like everyone else. There should be mutual relationship between all of us and we
need to respect each other.

2. Regarding rape issue, women are blamed because of the type of clothes they wear.
Use our voice and actions to advocate against victim blaming. Loving is caring, so as a
human who cares for others that is human too, I have to show my love by showing actions. In
addition, an emphasized education regarding rape should be teached to break misconceptions
and accustomed culture.

3. Many say that poor people are poor because of their mentality.
-Stereotype should be broken through education and it must be teached to children that
it is not about the mentality. One example is the farmers that work hard but still poor. We should
respect them and their circumstances, and not blame their mentality.
4. Indigenous people have their own culture others do not understand but some people
make fun of them.
Again, the government and schools should advocate and teach students to stop
disrespecting other cultures to stop their habits. People need to understand that we grew from
different places, which causes various cultures. We should spread messages that we humans
have relationships, and as humans, we can show our love with actions by merely respecting
their culture.
5. Nowadays, some people think that psychological problems are just excuses people do
to justify their weaknesses.
The solution to this problem is to be aware of this issue and advocate for mental health.
People should be more aware and take this seriously rather than not considering what an
individual really feels. Based on Martin Bubber's philosophy, we need to respect, accept, and
especially be sincere and have a dialogue with one another to avoid miscommunication.
