2.0) Problem Statement
Our project also focuses on students who are not continually active in
sports generally. This is because, students are generally lazy to engage in sports
and prefers to play games inside their room. This will only waste their time, but
also will affect their body healthiness. Excessive usage of internet is also a
leading point for a student for not doing physical sports. Not only they spend
most of their time by playing games on their mobile phone or desktop, but since
“Netflix” series has started to rise up in popularity during the quarantine time,
they tend to spend most of their time indoor. Instead of engaging in physical
activities. It has been a month since quarantine has ended, students are
demotivated to do sports since they have changed their lifestyle during the five
month of quarantine time. This is because, they are hard to stuck with their
quarantine lifestyle that engaging in physical activities become a challenge for
them so our main goal is to help them bring their back joy in sparks

3.0) Proposed Project
In this project, we will introduce a new sport to GMI students. This sport is quite
underrated among the students so this introduction will expose more on the sport. The
sport that we would like to present is The Ultimate Frisbee. From what we observe,
most of the students in GMI do not know how to play frisbee or even know about the
game itself as much as they know about football, netball, volleyball, badminton, etc. The
production of this project enables us to give an exposure on frisbee thoroughly. In this
project, we will teach the students ways to play frisbee mainly for beginners.
Firstly, we will introduce about the game background and the rules and
regulations of the game. Next, we will explain and show the various ways on how to
throw and catch the frisbee disc, the correct way to hold the frisbee disc, safety
precautions, warm up exercises that needed to be done before the game, scoring and
faults in the ultimate frisbee game and etc.
By playing frisbee, it is not just a game, but it also has other advantages such as
it can make us do more physical sports to live a balanced healthy lifestyle. The Ultimate
Frisbee is also an internationally known sport. Other than it can attract interest to play
frisbee, it can also encourage more people to play this game globally representing the
national team.

4.0) Project Objective
These day, the youth are reluctant to play sport due to the boom of
technological advancement such as phone, social media and various
entertainment such as Netflix, YouTube, etc., that lead them to the confinement
of their own homes, due to that, the neo generation has become lazy as
entertainment or ratherly available at a hand touch.
Since not many universities partake in Frisbee as a professional sport, we
can confirm that most students are unaware that the sport exists. Our main goal
is to expend the popularity of the game and hopefully make it a widespread
activities among Malaysian. Due to the recent event of the pandemic, there are
limited amount of sport that student can play without the requirement of
physical intact. This is where Frisbee comes in. Since Frisbee has minimal
physical contact compares to the other sport such as football and rugby, makes
it ideal sport for the current situation of Covid-19. This makes it perfect activities
for student and family to reduce transmittion of the virus in Malaysia.
Frisbee can refine our reflexes due to the complex mechanical
requirement to play the game. This will not only improve the student physical
reflexes, Frisbee also improves the player ability to perform quick critical thinking
due to the nature of the sport. This is because, they have to pass the Frisbee to
their teammates in a quick succession. On the other hand, this fast phase
thinking is beneficial for their everyday life such as working in a high stress
situation.
Not only Frisbee will improve our decision making and reflexes, it will also
improve family relationships. Since MCO has been extended to the end of the
year, student tend to spend more time with their family. In the quarantine time,
we have heard many incidents of physical and mentally abuse that caused by
both parent and child. There are several reports of abusive parent taking it on
their children due to the stressful environment such as financial difficulties and
the mental burden of being lockup at home. This is where physical activities such
as Frisbee relieve the heavy burden on their shoulder. Researched has proved
6
that playing sports released happy hormone such as dopamine and serotine
which improve their mental state.
In conclusion, physical activities are vital for both physical health and
mental health. Not only it will improve our general lifestyle, it will also benefit for
the future.
