In the first theme, each of the respondents states their opinions on what is time
management and all of the results were almost same. These include prioritizing time and

In the second theme, each of the respondents states their opinion what struggles did they
encounter when simultaneous activities happened. However, most of the time stem students
face problems like many performance task, so they to be procrastinate because they lack of time

"So for me, the challenge is time itself, bakit? Ahmmm... kasi dib tayo kapag gumagawa
Respondent 2:
"Ahhmmm... yon pag... sabay sabay sila, sobrang hirap non kasi di mo alam kung ano yung
Respondent 3:
"Dalawang groupings na gagawin sa araw na yon tapos dalawang sabay na oras yung
kunwari alas dos yung dalawa PR1 tska stat yung kumbaga di mo alam kung anong uunahin mo."
Respondent 4:
"Sabay sabay yung pasahan tapos di mo na alam yung uunahin mo ganon. Nakaka-stress."
Distraction

Mental Tension
The two respondents states their feeling whenever they encounter the state on having a
simultaneous activity. College year is the most stressful academic experience. Being aware on
time of students, resulting a good performance, less problems and less pressure (Swick, 1987)
The participant were asked and two Grade 11 STEM students stated:
Respondent 1:
"Yun nga nag sasabay sabay na sila - nagsasama sama sila na parang narating ka sa point na
maiistress ka na kasi parang feeling mo puro gawain nalang yung ginagawa."
Respondent 2:
"Sabay sabay yung pasahan tapos di mo na alam yung uunahin mo ganon. Nakaka-stress."
Time Table
In this theme, the respondents stated that they uses a material to manage their time
which is a time table or a planner to be more organize and to control of time spent on specific
activities.
The interview questions that were use were created to know what strategies did they
do and how on managing their time. The participants were asked on how do they manage their

“Ano syempre... ano pang... ano dito... sagutin dito ng in general na... planning, ano
kunwari meron kang libro na i-jo-jot down mo doon lahat ng kailangan mong gawin para alam
Respondent 2:
“So minamanage ko yung time ko ahhh... minamanage ko yung time ko kapag... active
ako pag sinusulat ko yung ano..yung mga dapat kong gawin ahh.. to do list ganon.”
Respondent 3:
“Ahmmm... actually meron akong notebook pero ano... hindi as in time, meron lang
akong nilalagay na ahmmm... mga subjects or mga bagay na kailangan kong gawin sa araw na to
Respondent 4:
“gumagawa ako ng 'to do list', yun chine-checkan ko nalang kung anong dapat kong
unahin.”

“Kapag ganon ginagawa ko nalang kung ano yung mas kailangan talaga. Kunwari ang
mas... ang - ang unang ipapasa ay yung sa stat. Sa stat nalang ako pupunta.”
Respondent 3:
“ eto yung subject na to mas dapat i-priority yun yung gagawin ko”
The first major finding of this research is to know the
others stated that they barely manage their time because there's a lot
