Performance calculation:
If the ATOW is lower than those displayed on the chart, retain the speeds associated with the
highest temperature in the column corresponding to the conditions of the day (wind and
configuration) and reduce them by 1kt per 1000 kg. The resulting values have to be checked
against the minimum speeds provided at the bottom of the chart.
Flex temp correction in case of low QNH: It is permissible to extrapolate linearly for a difference
greater than 10hPa, e.g. if the QNH is 993 hPa, double the weight penalty and double the Flex
correction.
Note: The CG correction has to be applied when the take off CG is lower than 27 % (refer Vueling
Perf. Manual p. B4-2-9).
Consider use of Flaps of the lowest flap setting configuration for take-off when appropriate for fuel
saving policies.
Delay APU start-up as much as possible. APU may be started 5 minutes before Off Block time the
soonest.
Note: External power cost is included in Handling costs.
Noise abatement procedures vary between states. It is company policy to use ICAO Procedure 2
where applicable. See Performance Manual for the specific airport reduction/acceleration
altitudes.
Instrument check is done in silence during cockpit preparation. At first flight of the day PF checks
Standby-compass.
Use of Transponder according to the OMA. The System 1 has to be on if A/P 1 is in use and vice
versa.
Note that the closing of the cargo door will trigger the yellow hydraulic pump and therefore charge
the yellow system accumulator pressure.
Note: For mid points and stop end values please refer to Performance Manual Section 7.
Max wind: tail: 10 kts, cross: 20 kts, head: 30 kts.
Note: Wind limits for contaminated RWY are found in FCOM PER-TOF-CTA.
3) AERODROME CAPABILITY OM 8.4.4/OM 8.4.6
Check NOTAMS, ATIS, ATC ......... multiple RVR available, RW capability downgraded?
Note: “low visibility procedures” must be in force
4) A/C CAPABILITY QRH OPS.04 FCOM PRO-NOR-SRP-01, OM 8.4.7.2.2
Check Technical Log and STS page
5) TASK SHARING FCOM PRO-NOR-SRP-01 FMS-70, QRH
CM1 looks for visual references approaching DH and calls out FMA incl. “LAND” ~ 350f
CM2 (head down) calls out FMA change after “LAND” > FLARE/NO FLARE (below 30 ft.) – IDLE
– ROLLOUT
Deviations ...................................... Callouts. FCOM PRO-NOR-SOP-90.
6) AUTOBRAKE (recommended MEDIUM)
7) DOWNGRADED FAILURES FCOM PRO-NOR-SRP-01 FMS-70 FCOM PRO-SUP-22.
Scan instruments and systems approaching 1000ft AGL (check no flags, it is not a callout)
Below 1000ft. AGL ......................... no switching or downgrading
8) NON STANDARD PROCEDURES:
With insufficient visual references carry out a G/A if following occurs:
9) ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS
Local aerodrome/ATC and LVO taxi procedures.
Optimum seat position, lights dimmed/off, stabilized approach.
OEB´s and TR´s.
Disconnect AP after reaching Taxi speed.
