There are three kinds of assessment that I surely give to my future students. These are
diagnostic, formative and summative assessment. I’ll give Diagnostic assessment, because I want
to assess my student’s strengths, weaknesses, knowledge, and skills prior to instruction. It is a
good thing for me to have a baseline for my students. While in formative assessment, I think it
will help my student identify their strengths and weakness and target areas that need work. I’ll
surely give formative assessment because; it will help me to monitor my student learning. I think
it will provide feedback that I can used to improve my teaching and to improve their learning.
Also, the summative assessment is important for the students. It is important to know the
students learning after the discussion. It will help me to easily notice if they learn something
about a certain topic that I discussed.
