 Abstract

The purpose of this study is to enlighten and satisfy the society on how to prevent mosquito bites
using inexpensive ingredients. Thus, we introduce out innovative and authentic product called
Insectishield.

Due to numerous cases of dengue caused by mosquito bites, we invented Insectishield. We have
to ensure the safety of our people by protecting them from the said bites. However, our invented
product acts like a moisturizer thus, making the skin soft.

The researchers used experimental method in this study. The good thing about this product is
how it is easy to prepare using inexpensive ingredients like garlic, mineral oil, lemon, gel and
isopropyl alcohol which can be easily found inside your house. However, if the ingredients
mentioned are not available, you can buy it in the convenient store and it can be done by
everyone. The first thing you need to do is to cut the garlic into small pieces. Then, Put it into a
bowl together with the mineral oil. Cover it up for twenty four hours and put another teaspoon of
mineral oil together with the lemon juice. Mix well then prepare for the lotion moisturizer by
mixing gel and isopropyl alcohol. Stir well and combine the two mixtures to come up with our
new product.

Challenges in our experiment lies on two factors. One is how to get samples of alive mosquitoes
and second, is the person who will be used as bait for the mosquitoes. With the cooperation of
everyone in our team, we successfully surpassed the challenges.

The experiment was conducted to know the effectively and efficiency of our product. A hand
with applied Insectishield was put inside a transparent box together with the sample mosquitoes.
Two minutes have passed but the hand with applied product is still free from mosquitoes.

Therefore, we came up with the idea that our Insectishield is proven to be one of the best
products to avoid mosquito bites that cause dengue thus contributing a big help in our
community for the benefit of everyone

ending grace, mercy, and provision during the toughest time of our life. And for making our
experiment possible and efficient in the community.

Our completion of this project could not have been accomplished without the support of
our families and friends. Who helped us a lot in finalizing this project within the limited time
frame.
