PROPOSAL ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities:
• Work with outside sales to define customer commercial requirements in the Invitation to
Bid.
• Gather commercial scope and help facilitate the initial bid strategy.
• Develop internal timelines to meet deadlines and hold strategy meetings with the
appropriate groups as needed.
• Interact with the various internal groups to gather the appropriate material, schedules,
cost, pricing, and other commercial information related to the bid.
• Proactively suggest alternatives and options (where possible) to reduce cost, improve
value to customer and increase profitability.
• Prepare comparative commercial figures from previous bids/projects to help facilitate
management decisions.
• Assist and ensure tender execution adherence to ITB (Invitation to Bid).

Basic Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of three (3) years in oil and gas industry with several years in sales or project
management.
• Strong Technical Writing Skills.
