Part I.

1. Give your understanding on what is rural and urban development?

 Rural Development it refers to the process of improving the quality of like as well as the
economics of a well-being of people were living in an isolated and populated areas while
Urban Development is more on political process concerned on the use of land and design for
the urban environment including transportation which guide us and ensure development.

2. Give its importance to the following –

2.1 Community
 The importance of rural and urban development to the community is to help them
improve in terms of livelihoods by implementing comprehensive development for
rural areas where majority of the people living there suffers poverty and it also
contribute to reduce the burden of the people living in urban areas.
2,2 Education
 Education is the mirror of society and the seed of socioeconomic
development. By the said development people transform from ignorance to
enlightenment.
2.3 Business Sectors
 In the field of business both rural and urban development plays a vital role to the
economic, social and environmental viability of nations to create more sustainable
rural development which is an important foundation of rural development to generate
strong linkages to economic sectors.
2.4 Infrastructure
 The importance of infrastructures in development plays an important role in the
improvement of the country’s standard living that helps to contribute a higher rate of
economic growth.

3. How can you contribute to improve the condition in your respective area in terms of -

3.1. Cleanliness/beautification
 It helps us to understand that keeping our surrounding clean it well keeps us our
physical and mental health also clean. Cleanliness is not a matter of products and
things but a matter of diligence and effort by people.
3.2 Food production
 Our contributions for the improvement in terms of food productions is allow to
produce products that consumers (us) needs. The more we need the more they
produce.
3.3 Proper waste disposal
 My contributions for these area (proper waste disposal) is to practice proper waste
management such waste segregation with my trash at home. Let your family involved
or contribute also on how to take good care of our environment by simply following
on proper waste disposal.
