CURRICULUM/SYLLABUS

This program is aimed at training candidates for the job of a “Electrician Domestic", in the “Electrical (Under
MODULAR EMPLOYABLE SKILLS (MES))” Sector/Industry and aims at building the following key competencies
amongst the learner:

1. To know how to carry out basic electrician 5.To know about earthing and all the related
services processes
2. To know how to repair wiring 6. Soft skills required for the job
3. To know how to fix home appliances 7.
4. To know how to carry out EC and CFL assembly 8.

This course encompasses 5 out of 5 National Occupational Standards (NOS) of “Electrician Domestic
(ELERN14101)” Qualification Pack issued by “Electrical (Under MODULAR EMPLOYABLE SKILLS
(MES)””.

to different points.
17. Determine the number of lamps to be
connected in series for particular supply
voltage for making decorative serial lamp

switch box casings cleats, conduit ceiling
roses, switches etc.
19. Testing of electrical installations
&equipment and locating faults using
Megger, Test lamps & its removal.
