Subject: Invitation for the Northeast Green Summit, 2020

Respected Sir,

Greetings from Vibgyor N.E. Foundation!

We have the honour to state that Vibgyor N.E Foundation, in association with Indian Institute
of Technology Guwahati and Handique Girls’ College, Guwahati, NIT, Silchar & NIT,
Mizoram as knowledge partner is organizing the 5th Edition of the Northeast Green Summit
2020 at IIT Guwahati from 16-18 November 2020.
In the summit dignitaries from the Southeast Asian countries like Bangladesh, Bhutan &
Myanmar will be attending the summit as guest. Moreover, a good number of experts,
dignitaries and delegates of the country including North-eastern states are expected to attend
for deliberations in panel discussions on various sub themes.
We would like to request your gracious presence along with other officials at the inaugural
function on 16-11-2020 at 10:00 A.M. as well as in the all the technical sessions where
themes like Climate Change, Flood, Water Resources Management, Sustainable
livelihood options, Food processing in NE India, Combating wildlife & forest crime
after corona pandemic will be discussed.
Further, we would appreciate if you kindly depute a mixed group of 10-20 officials
/stakeholders / beneficiaries / students /researchers for each session who can actively
participate/interact/contribute papers for the formulation of action plan on the theme to be
discussed in the summit and also play important role in its implementation.
