Characters And role

1: Flask role: a short, stocky guy who seemed uneducated and brave. He considered whaling
as a kind of game.
2: Stubb role: it certainly was one for joking. He was a cheerful guy, generally laughing and
singing. He was also a skilled whaler, who seemed very comfortable in his role. _
3: Starbuck role: He was slim but very fit, and his eyes seemed to recount the many
experiences, both pleasant and unpleasant, that he had faced calmly during his life. He was a
humble and religious man, but not a coward
4: Tashtego role: an American Indian, with long black hair, a walnut complexion, and a strong,
supple body.

Main events, 2 per chapter

1. Nantucket Island, not much more than a sand dune and a beach.
2. Pequod, an old but proud looking ship, and everyone who was going was preparing to go out
to sea and have new experiences
1. the south, away from the Christmas chill of Nantucket into warmer, milder weather that would
continue for quite some time

Chapter’s (summary)
Chapter 4
Queequeg and Ishamel decided to be part of the crew of a ship called the Pequod. After days,
the crew was getting ready to go sailing, but Ishamel was still wondering where her captain was
meeting. Ishmael had been told that the captain of his ship was Captain Ahab, he was an
experienced sailor who had been attacked by the great white whale, Moby Dick.

Chapter 5

Chapter 6
One day Tashtego reports that he has spotted a group of sperm whales. At full speed, they put
the boats in the water. And now they discover that Ahab has brought on board a group of very
special whalers, which until now no one had seen. The leader of these "ghosts" is someone of
intimidating appearance of very strange appearance, called Fedallah. Then after a few days,
the crew meets another ship, the Goney, Captain Ahab asked them for information about moby
dick. Then, after a few more days sailing in the seas, Ishmael see a whale and everyone gets
ready to hunt it, they manage to do it successfully.
 Chapter’s review
What did you like the most from the chapters? I liked the fourth chapter since they are
heading to a new adventure and new experiences
What did you like the least from the chapters? I did not like the sixth because they were going
to kill the whale to avenge what he had done to one of the characters
