Alternative Learning Systems is concerned with the process if assessing the needs and interests of people, of communicating with
them of motivating them to participate, and of helping them to adopt behavioral patterns and related activities which will improve the quality of
their loves. The whats, whys and hows of ALS are the foci of the program. Furthermore monitoring, assessment and evaluation are also stresses.
