Product Selling Guide Product Selling Guide

Over the years, the evolving product line grew up to 8 machines,

with 5-wheeled and 3 tracked derivatives. All were radial lift
and the offering covered the higher volume products within the
1,300 lbs (600kg) rated operating capacity (ROC) class, up to the
2,500 lbs (1100kg) ROC class.

In late 2008, the wheels were put in motion to move all design
and development of the skid steer and compact track loader to
the United States, the home of the skid steer loader.

JCB skid steer history

JCB’s history with skid steer loaders dates back to 1993, when
JCB revolutionized the construction industry with its single
monoboom design, providing unmatched visibility and safety
for machine operators.

With the JCB skid steer’s monoboom design, the operator

had exceptional visibility around the machine, which maximized
productivity as compared to conventional twin arm designs.
In addition, with the monoboom design, an operator was able
to enter and exit the machine from the side, rather than through
the work area, providing for a very safe working environment.
All of this was achieved while maintaining side to side weight
balance, offering unrivalled productivity on the job site.
